Claude Code builds an agent that finds beta testers for my Mac app, live
Stay till the end and you see a free Claude Code agent on my own subscription find real people who need my Mac app, read their public posts, and draft a message I approve by hand, with nothing sent on its own.
Run of show11 blocks
- 19:00Hook and promise. Show the empty repo and say by 20:45 an agent hands me a board of real leads for my Mac app, nothing auto-sent.
- 19:08Paste the prompt. Paste the build prompt into GlassTerm and read the milestones out loud while Claude Code plans.
- 19:15Ideal user profile. Write the one-page profile of who my Mac app is for, live, with chat correcting it.
- 19:25Chat: where to look. Ask chat to type !where with a public place people complain about the problem my app solves, and add the best ones to the sources list.
- 19:35Search and research. Let the agent run its first search pass and open every lead it saves to check the source link is real.
- 19:55Draft messages. Build the step where Claude writes a short draft per lead from that lead's own post, and read three out loud.
- 20:10Chat roasts drafts. Show five drafts on screen, chat votes keep or bin, and tighten the prompt on whatever sounds like a bot.
- 20:20Lead board. Build the local HTML board with approve and skip buttons and the status saved to the JSON file.
- 20:35Chat: last tweak. Take one chat suggestion for the board or the filter and ship it in a single commit.
- 20:42Full run result. Wipe the data, run the agent from zero, and show the board filling with leads, links and drafts.
- 20:52Wrap and tomorrow. Show the commit list, say how many leads it found as [X leads], and give tomorrow's topic.
